In this system there are no forbidden foods literally. All are grouped in the list, and is the individual who knows how many X color foods should be consumed in a day and how many of another series of color should be avoided, thus balancing their diet over time.

The idea is quite interesting and innovative addition without being complex. Moreover, the system provides the feeling of guilt and frustration from being largely reduced (a problem that many diets fail to deal properly). Who knows, maybe this is your method.
